My name is Dave Kolar and I am the Chair of the Department of Psychological Science at the University of Mary Washington about one hour south of you in Fredericksburg, VA. I am reaching out to you because I am looking for Grad students or other adjuncts who might be interested in teaching for us at UMW. I am working on my schedule for Spring 2018 and I have two sections of General Psychology that need to be taught as well as one section of either Biological Psychology or Psychopharmacology. The two sections of General Psych could be taught as one larger section if someone wanted. While I have approval to hire people to teach these courses, they are not officially on the schedule yet so the days and times of instruction can be set by the instructors. I know that some graduate students who have completed their Masters and/or are ABD are sometimes interested in enhancing their teaching experience and therefore might be interested in an opportunity to teach. If you have people in mind who you think would be good instructors and interested in teaching any of these courses I would appreciate you forwarding their name and contact information to me. Or they can contact me directly. Thanks you for any help you can provide. David W. Kolar, Ph.D. Chair, Department of Psychological Science University of Mary Washington Fredericksburg, VA 22401 U.S.A. [email protected] 540 654 1594
