I’m currently working on a new project for JBS evaluating the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) and we are eagerly seeking new staff to join our team. They’d be working with me directly and would get to be on the forefront of a high-impact program addressing the opioid epidemic!
We are open to REMOTE employees and are hiring up to FOUR! new full-time staff to join the project including a: -Quantitative Research Associate I (masters degree required, 3+ years of experience) -Qualitative Research Associate I (masters degree required, 3+ years of experience—note: this person is ultimately going to be mixed methods so they don’t need a ton of qual experience) -Research Assistant (bachelors degree required, 2+ years of experience – this position is not fully remote so they MUST be in the DC or Philadelphia, PA area) -We have another full-time position that has not yet been posted, but would also be at the research associate I level (similar qualifications as above) and would be on-site in North Bethesda, MD jointly working on evaluations of the National Center on Early Childhood Health and Wellness and the Opioid State Targeted Response grant program. Please pass this along to anyone that you think might be a good fit (especially young grads and talented masters or bachelors-level folks)-- or anyone that you think might know someone who could be a good fit. Also, don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions. I’d be happy to chat more about the project and about working at JBS International. J Rebecca S. We need personal attendants to work with our 12-year old daughter who has a Medicaid Waiver due to a genetic condition, galactosemia. She is ambulatory, but she needs help with dressing (buttons and zippers), bathing and toileting (occasionally) due to fine and gross motor issues. Light cooking or cleaning may be involved, but only as it relates directly to her and teaching her. Occasional transportation to appointments may be needed. We want patient individuals who are willing to instruct our daughter in tasks such as tying her shoes, buttoning clothes or zipping and unzipping. Also, to play interactive games that facilitate reciprocal conversation. Our daughter is a very sweet, shy girl who also has a diagnosis of Other Specified Anxiety Disorder. She is fun with an interesting personality.
Hours are flexible. She is qualified for 30 hours per week, plus respite hours when needed, at the state mandated rate of $12.17 per hour. The number of hours probably require more than one attendant to work with our daughter on different schedules. Short morning hours available and 4-6 hours in the afternoon. Weekend hours available at times. In Haymarket, Virginia. Please call or text Brian (703-963-1215) or Dilce (703-963-1594) O’Connor after 4pm if interested.
