St. Mary's College of Maryland, a public liberal arts, honors college, is accepting applications for a VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN CLINICAL/COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY to begin August 2020. Teaching includes department core courses (such as introduction to psychology) and courses in counseling and clinical psychology (such as Counseling Theories & Methods and Abnormal Psychology). The teaching load is three undergraduate courses each semester. Ph.D. preferred. ABD at time of contract will be hired at the rank of Visiting Instructor. An interest in working with students from underrepresented groups is essential. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check. Candidate must produce the necessary documentation to legally work in U.S. upon hire.
