Dates: July 8 – August 6, 2017
Application Deadline is March
My name is Vias Nicolaides and I want to inform you of a wonderful opportunity to study Psychology abroad in Cyprus this summer! Apply here!
In cooperation with George Mason University, I will be spearheading a study abroad program in my country, Cyprus, a safe, beautiful, and intriguing island in the Mediterranean. Check out the video at the bottom of the post to learn more about Cyprus!
Cyprus is considered the pearl of the Mediterranean and also the birthplace of the Goddess Aphrodite.
With warm sun, sparkling sea, welcoming people and wonderful scenery, Cyprus offers visitors a superb holiday destination packed with unforgettable experiences, extraordinary sights and exquisite Mediterranean cuisine.
Undergraduate and graduate students will have the opportunity to take 6 Psychology credits as well as tour the island and interact with locals and experience all that Cyprus has to offer (e.g. sandy beaches, exquisite food, and over 8,000 years of history)!
Instruction will take place at the Cyprus University of Technology from Monday-Thursday.
Students will have a unique opportunity to acquire theoretical knowledge on human behavior and their areas of interest.
Moreover, students will develop applied research skills, including statistical analysis skills and using SPSS.
In short, we will learn how to quantify and analyze human behavior and gain insight on how culture shapes behavior.
From Friday-Sunday we will be taking tours and overnight stays in key locations around the island and immerse ourselves in the Greek culture and tradition.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that there are scholarships and financial aid available to help finance your trip.
In addition, tuition for study abroad programs is paid at the in-state rate, even for out-of-state and international students!
Please do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Thank you for reading and I hope to see you in Cyprus this summer! :)
