Dear graduate students of psychology,
On April 27, 2017 at 1:30pm, Dr. Kevin Clark sponsored by the University Libraries, will speak about his recent research on African-American teens missing out on digital innovations. Based on a new national survey, young African-Americans may be missing out on key opportunities to learn to code, develop apps and software, and innovate with technology. (http://www.edweek.org/ew/articles/2016/11/16/african-american-teens-missing-out-on-digital-innovation.html). Dr. Clark is a professor at Mason's College of Education and Human Development and also the Director of Center for Digital Media Innovation and Diversity (https://cdmid.gmu.edu). Dr. Clark would talk about this research in detail and answer audience questions. The speech will be held in the Fenwick Library’s Main Reading Room (2001). The presentation and question and answer session will last about an hour. " We look forward to seeing more graduate students attend this event. Thanks! ******************************* Andrew Y.
