This webinar will discuss how teacher’s intentional use of cultural and social interactions can successfully foster students’ academic achievement and social-emotional development. This webinar will feature a presentation by Dr. Stephanie Curenton, Associate Professor and Director of the Ecology of School Readiness Lab at the Boston University School of Education. Her research focuses primarily on the development of low-income and minority children in various contexts, and related state and federal policies.
