Dr. Goldberg and Associates is a growing psychotherapy practice with five locations and over 75 mental health Clinicians. We are currently looking for a Part-Time Administrative staff member to add to our support team!
The candidate for this position will primarily be working in the Stevenson, Alexandria office but must be willing to work in other locations, if necessary. Common weekday shifts are from 7:45 am to 12 pm and/or 5 pm to 9:30 pm, as well as weekends as needed. About the Role: Our administrative team is the backbone of our practice. A normal day consists of answering phone calls and emails, scheduling new patients, and assisting with collecting copays. You are the first person our patients meet when they reach out to begin their mental health journey. Must be: · Friendly, polite, patient, and kind · Ready to work and a team-player · Able to perform well in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment · Able to multitask and work independently. Some tasks cannot be completed all at once, so Admin must be able to follow-up and follow-through. · Dependable and punctual · Able to work well under pressure during busy times and be a self-starter during down-time. · Willing to learn and follow instructions A PLUS, but not required: · Medical Billing and Insurance knowledge · Bilingual speaker Responsibilities include, but not limited to: · Answering multi-line phones and scheduling patients · Administrative support for management and providers · Collecting patient copays and balances · Maintain a high level of Confidentiality and Professionalism · Complete tasks in a timely fashion · Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: · Must have reliable transportation · Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma (or Equivalent) · Must be willing to work weekday mornings and/or evenings/ night, as well as weekends as needed Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: 4-hour shift 8-hour shift Evening shift Morning shift Night shift Weekends as needed COVID-19 considerations: Individuals are encouraged to wear masks in all buildings and office spaces.
