They exist so that individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorder, mild intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and anyone who faces life crisis can achieve safety, personal wellness, recovery, and community integration. They are seeking Crisis Workers to support their Oakton Office paying $15-16.50/hr based on experience. SUMMARY STATEMENT OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the Crisis Worker will use active listening and provide emotional support to anonymous hotline callers or texters who are in crisis via the telephone or text messages.
