The Mason Autism Support Initiative is looking for undergraduate Peer Mentors for the 2018-2019 academic school year. Peer Mentors play an extremely valuable role in providing individualized support for students with autism as they navigate through social and academic aspects of life at Mason. A mentor maintains regular contact of 1-2 hours a week with their mentee throughout the academic year to promote a positive university experience.
We will have three informational sessions about the position: February 1st at 2pm in SUB 1 room 3311 February 7th at 11am in SUB 1 room 3008 February 13th at 4pm in SUB 1 room 3311 Applications are available online at https://ds.gmu.edu/opportunities/ and are due Thursday, February 22nd by 5pm.
