Job Opportunity: Research Data Analyst Lead, Institute for Policy Research, Northwestern University4/13/2017 Northwestern University is developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan to coordinate research, teaching, and service activities in local school systems in Evanston and Chicago and in other community agencies operating in the PreK-20+ space.
We seek a research analyst with strong technical and interpersonal skills to serve in the dual role of administrator of the Northwestern University PK-20+ Engagement Initiative and research/data coordinator for the Chicago Public Schools portion of this initiative. In the first role, this individual will work with the working group of education leaders at Northwestern to develop a set of priorities for University activities and functions in the local PK-20+ space. In the second role, this individual will serve as the principal liaison with CPS and Evanston research and data staff; will be responsible for maintaining confidential databases at Northwestern; will prepare anonymized extracts for Northwestern researchers for approved projects; and will carry out data analysis in service of joint objectives of Northwestern and the school districts.
